HOW I CHANGED MY EATING HABITS + WHY I BECAME VEGAN
This was me . Age 19 with my first son. I was un healthy . Living off junk food, processed foods + meat. One day I decided to educate myself about nutrition and foods. I lost several stone, gained my health and breath! This wasn't easy, it was hard, I had to make lots of changes. I had hardly any money to live off- so I utilised my local library and the internet. Discovered foraging (hello food for free !!!). I pushed myself to be a good example to my child and to feed him good food. Now 3 more children down the line and 13 years on I am very educated about nutrition.
DEEP RELAXATION GONG BATH REVIEW
Where do I start?! I went to my first gong bath the other night. Well..wow!!
Never have I experienced anything like it before. Love and hate combined to perfection.
It started in a large church hall. The lights were off and sage was burning, whilst atmospheric tea lights lined our paths. Lay on the floor with a yoga mat under me, and granny chic blanket draped over me I waited in suspense, I am definitely a control freak
TROPIC SKINCARE VEGAN MASCARA + CLEANSER REVIEW
I was sent a beautifully wrapped parcel from TROPIC. Bloody amazing! I love free stuff, especially ethical stuff that works.
LASH EXTENSION KIT
BIRTHDAY + CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE FOR UNDER 6'S
Having copious amounts of kids like I do, I feel we have received our fair share of tatt and gems in the gift department over the years. With the festive feeling getting stronger I thought I'd be a generous soul and share some of our favourite gifts. (Basically the stuff that lasts the charity bag cull)
OK ..OK I didnt realise how many books would make this list

MEADOWSWEET FORAGE FOR FREE, MEDICINAL USES, RECIPES + INFORMATION
Meadowsweet is generally best picked in July (UK).
Pick on a dry day.
Habitat: Marshes, streams, ditches and moist woodland. It can aggravate hayfever so take caution when picking, (I personally would drink the tea to build up immunity if this is a problem for you).
INTERVIEW WITH JAY HALFORD FROM THE CORE IN CHELTENHAM

NETTLE SMOOTHIE - HOLISTIC HAY FEVER HEALING
I am currently researching holistic ways to tackle hay fever. Last year mine was awful. I hate relying on pharmaceutical medicines. Antihistamines are OK occasionally, the body quickly builds an intolerance though, and the previous administered amounts that worked no longer will. Antihistamines have also been linked to dementia.

JUICE PRODUCER KT2200 JUICER REVIEW / COMPARISION
I saved long and hard for my first juicer, and spent nearly as long researching which type of juicer was best. From my initial £50 budget I ending up spending £179 on my matstone 6 in 1 juicer. I chose a bigger budget juicer as it is important to me that the juice keeps as much of its nutrients as possible. Usually the cheaper juicers heat up during the juicing process and kill off vital vitamins.
BITTER - SWEET.... STEVIA 👍 OR 👎
So here's a controversial one.... artificial sweeteners. There's is a newish kid on the block STEVIA.
I hate all artificial sweeteners with a HUGE passion. So her comes Mr Stevia. "I'm healthy" he says, "I'm made from a plant, I naturally have virtually no calories, but am 200 times sweeter than normal sugar". Brilliant?? No I don't think so. Ok so it may help an obese person to keep consuming highly sweetened foods and loose weight. Or any person for that matter. (Recommended by the NHS for obese and overweight people). Ermm eurgh great so they still eat junk food, sweetened foods that make their mouths explode. Are we not missing the point though?
