Feeling a little run down I made this delicious warm juice. It really is a potent combination of fresh flavours. It's very simple and warning very more ish.
1 large beetroot 3 large carrots 2 apples Tablespoon of organic lemon juice Ginger I added fresh but powder works great too. I used about a finger nail sized piece. Add more depending on taste preference
Juice all ingredients. Carrots last. To help clean the juicer and get the most juice.
Warm in a pan very lightly. The less heat, the least amount of vitamin loss.
This almost has a hot chocolate feel to it. Very decadent feels almost naughty!
This is great for helping your immune system during the colder months. With the blood cleansing beetroot. Carrots are a great source of pro-vitamin A, vitamins C, D, E, K, B1 and B6. Raw lemon juice is a great cleanser and full of antioxidants. Ginger has a long history with fighting colds and flu but also helps vitamin absorption great! Finally apples are a good source of vitamin c among other things so all in all a great warming juice drink.
You can easily switch the flavours around playing with cinnamon and orange.
