This will blow your taste buds away. If you like a chai latte then this has you written all over it.

This spicy heart warming drink does more than just satisfy your taste buds. My healthy version will nourish you. Packed with anti inflammatory spices and antibacterial goodness. 

 

I make solely in my BLENDTEC blender as it heats to a level that is still classed as raw - so keeps more of the goodness. If you dont have a really powerful blender, whizz for as long as yours will allow. If it doesn't warm it enough you can heat gently in a pan.

 

 

 

Ingredients

2 cups of almond or coconut milk (I personally like Rude Healths products)

8 dates-stoned (soaked if you have time)

1 frozen cube of ginger (I use this for ease) fresh is obviously preferred (grated 1 teaspoon)

1 level teaspoon of mixed spice

A dash of extra cinnamon

A little pinch of pepper to help release extra vitamins + minerals 

1 teaspoon of turmeric (again fresh is preferable - grate 1 teaspoon)

Directions  

 

Place all the ingredients into a high speed blender, once warm - serve.
